Assistant Director, Healthy Living
This position will provide leadership to grant-funded Healthy Living projects at National 4-H Council. The position will support the national 4-H Healthy Living strategic framework for the 4-H System, working closely with 4-H Headquarters/ NIFA National Program Leaders, Extension Directors, State Program Leaders and other Land-Grant University faculty for overall strategic and tactical management to support the 4-H Healthy Living Mission Mandate.   The Assistant Director will collaborate with these and other partners to build capacity and capabilities of over 3,500 4-H professionals and 540,000 4-H volunteers in the 4-H system in support of 4-H Healthy Living programs.   

 

 

Director, Digital Marketing

Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, the Director, Digital Marketing will have responsibility for executing the organization’s digital marketing strategy involving all brand and platform websites. He or she will be responsible for developing creative ways to help position the image of the 4-H movement on a national and local level through the implementation of online strategies.

Cook II

Cook II position is responsible for preparing all hot food for guests in accordance with BEO’s submitted to food service. Cook II will adhere to recipes and production sheets and ensure all foods are prepared freshly, attractively presented and served on time at the proper temperature. HACCP guidelines for safe food handling must be followed consistently. Cook II must complete assigned tasks within scheduled hours of work and have a courteous and pleasant attitude towards guests, co-workers, fellow associates and supervisors. Cook II must clean and sanitize all equipment and worktables and maintain the highest levels of safety and sanitation in the kitchen.

Housekeeper 1

Clean and supply guest rooms so that all guests are provided with fresh rooms.

Director, Corporate Partnerships

Contribute to a private sector fundraising goal of $20M per year that includes a coordinated solicitation of corporate grants, cause marketing and employee engagement opportunities.  Work in partnership with the SVP, RD to successfully implement the Resource Development team plan.  Strategize and contribute in all areas of the RD team including planning, budgeting, staffing, reporting, donor cultivation, new business development, donor deliverables, board solicitation, and reporting.  Initiate, solicit and close major national corporate funding partnerships and promotions to support Council’s Strategic Plan.

Wonders of Washington Program Assistant

Get paid to spend quality time in our nation's capital and live on the campus of the National 4-H Youth Conference Center as a WOW Program Assistant. WOW Program Assistants ensure that WOW participants have fun while they learn! PAs become licensed Washington, DC tour guides to lead the WOW participants throughout Washington, DC, and relay information about the city and our nation's rich history. They also facilitate the program's educational workshops. WOW PAs have the opportunity to work as office interns with the different departments of National 4-H Council. Develop and enhance your leadership skills as you explore a variety of aspects of the non-profit sector!

Access 4-H Intern
The Access 4-H intern will primarily help support the National roll out and implementation process for the Access 4-H Online Enrollment System.  The intern will also be involved in team meetings, presentations to the field and collaborative efforts within National 4-H Council to aid several areas of the Access 4-H Online Enrollment project. The Access 4-H intern reports to the Manager of Access 4-H.
