  • Meet Your Team

The ACCESS 4-H Team not only consists of system experts and dedicated programmers, but also individuals with deep 4-H backgrounds--lifelong 4-H'ers with experience as volunteers, parents, and state/county staff.  We speak the "language" of 4-H and understand the politics!

  • Kilamba Augusto
    Director, ACCESS 4-H

Ki Augusto is a graduate of the University of Maryland (BS, 2003).  He joined National 4-H Council's ACCESS 4-H team in the fall of 2008. Ki brings a wealth of education-centered youth development, business, non-profit organization, and related technical experience as to the team as a former educational consultant, high school math teacher, and software-based project manager. He has also served as a technical support and professional  development specialist on IT product for a large communications firm as well as previously for ACCESS 4-H. Ki has a passion for the cause of economic development for underserved populations through education world-wide, and believes that leveraging new technologies and providing supplemental educational experiences through 4-H (and like organizations) in support of this cause is essential for success.  Ki enjoys learning about different cultures and speaks four languages.

  • Cindy Sperry
    Product Development Manager

Cindy Sperry is a lifelong 4-H’er from California. She is a graduate of UC Davis (BA, 2006) and worked as a student staffer in the state 4-H office for the tech team. She has also served on several state 4-H program committees and as president of the UC Davis Collegiate 4-H club. Her background in 4-H technology and leadership programs led her to a part-time internship at National 4-H Council while in college, and she joined the ACCESS 4-H team full-time in 2007. Cindy brings a wide variety of 4-H experience as well as expertise in system structure and implementation to the team,  and focuses primarily on ACCESS 4-H program development. Cindy is also part of a military household, and is glad to maintain her office wherever the frequent moves take her. So far, that’s included California, Washington, Arizona, and North Carolina. She is fascinated by the different ways 4-H achieves its purpose, in settings across the world, while still providing a consistently high quality experience for its youth and volunteers. Her inspiration comes from the way 4-H nurtured her creativity and skills, and will do anything to help the program offer the same support to other families.
