Community Action
4-H members contribute hundreds of thousands of hours back to their community every year. Here is a selection of programs and curricula focused on helping youth engage and give back to their communities:
Citizenship Washington Focus
National 4-H Council hosts Citizenship Washington Focus for 4-H youth in the Washington, D.C.-area each summer. CWF provides a hands-on view of government through Capitol Hill visits, field trips, and other leadership opportunities.
Rural Youth Development
Rural Youth Development focuses on providing holistic positive youth development opportunities to youth in rural areas. It also is based on the priorities that emerged from the National Conversation on Youth Development in the 21st Century.
Service Learning
