Health, Nutrition and Fitness
4-H health, nutrition, and fitness programs help youth understand the importance of eating right, physical fitness, being active and practicing good hygiene. Mastering these basic health principles place young people on the right track to managing their long-term health.
Youth Voice: Youth Choice

Youth Voice: Youth Choice provides 15 grants to state-level 4-H programs and focuses on developing and enhancing healthy living programs at the community level. The goal is to mobilize youth to take action around three healthy living priorities (nutrition, physical fitness, and safety) and develop and begin implementing action plans.
Fantastic Foods
With Fantastic Foods youth will have fun in the kitchen as they prepare different foods, take part in fascinating experiments, and go on fact-finding missions.
Keeping Fit and Healthy
While participating in the Keeping Fit and Healthy curriculum, young people will create a first-aid kit for their family and receive instruction on treating some injuries along with receiving an in-depth lesson on designing, managing and tracking their own fitness plans.
