Youth Board Trustee Application

The application period for the National 4-H Council Youth Trustee seats has now closed.

National 4-H Council will contact selected candidates directly to arrange interviews. Final candidates will then be submitted to Council's Board for consideration on November 9, 2012 for election to a three year term.

Eligibility Criteria 

Successful applicants will posess the following attributes:

• Minimum of 5 years of past involvement in 4-H.
• Be between the ages of 16-23 as of November 9, 2012.
• Be able to commit to a three year term as a Board of Trustee member.
• Be an experienced public speaker.
• Be willing to represent 4-H as a spokesperson for media opportunities (media training will be provided by National 4-H Council).
• Will have served previously in a state or national 4-H leadership/governance role.
• Proven youth adult partnership impact.
